Feb. 8 Big Game fundraiser to support Maryville

Valley Lodge Tavern will host a Big Game Watch Party on Sunday, Feb. 8, at its Wilmette location, with proceeds benefiting Maryville Academy and its programs serving children and families.

The family-friendly event will begin at 4 p.m. and will include appetizers, a dinner buffet and dessert. Guests will gather to watch the game while supporting Maryville’s mission to protect children and strengthen families.

The fundraiser will also feature raffles, squares, strip cards and a silent auction. Tickets are $50 per person, and children 10 and under may attend at no cost. Space is limited. Tickets can be purchased at https://bit.ly/3YgkhFj. Please see the flyer for additional event details.

“Community partnerships like this make a meaningful difference for the children and families we serve,” said Megan Biasco, Maryville’s director of development. “We are grateful to Valley Lodge Tavern for hosting this event and for their continued support of Maryville’s mission.”

Valley Lodge Tavern at 1141 Central Ave. in Wilmette is hosting the event as part of its ongoing support of local nonprofit organizations. Community members are encouraged to attend with family and friends to enjoy the game while giving back.

With its homey atmosphere, Valley Lodge Tavern is one of North Shore’s iconic and go-to restaurants. Founded in 1969 by brothers Peter and Taki Adamis, the Glenview location quickly became THE popular dining destination. In 1997, new owners Bill and George Stavrou carried forward the tradition in Glenview, and later in 2014, when they opened their Wilmette location.
