Maryville is making a difference in Illinois. Its growth and impact have touched thousands of lives. We look to the future to help our children and families reach their fullest potential.
We are focused on our community’s most critical issues. Our range of programs includes residential, behavioral and mental health services, family support services, secondary and special education, and community development.
Behavioral Health Services
In addition to providing behavioral health in our programs, Maryville also works with children ages 3 to 20 with complex emotional and mental health needs. Maryville provides caring, individualized and therapeutic services to these special children.
Family Behavioral Health Clinic
Education and vocational experiences are fundamentally important to helping people achieve their fullest potential. Maryville offers a range of educational and vocational services for children living at Maryville and for students living in our community.
Center for Children

We believe that the best place for children to grow up is in families. Maryville offers resources to support and preserve families through a respectful, strengths-based approach that views the family as central to the child’s well-being. Maryville also provides care for families and their children ages birth to 21 who are medically fragile in a caring and compassionate environment.

Stephen Sexton Training Institute
For service providers serving children, adolescents and their families, the Stephen Sexton Training Institute fills a gap of information about the prevalence, consequences and effective treatment of trauma in people’s lives. For others involved with children like school personnel, first responders, and emergency room staff, the Stephan Sexton Training Institute introduces the issue of trauma, its consequences and its treatment.
