Thank you for helping make the season brighter for our community!

Maryville Crisis Nursery has launched its annual Gifts of Hope program, inviting community members to adopt a family this holiday season and help fulfill their wish lists. Now in full swing, the program aims to bring joy, stability and hope to 30 families facing hardship.

Each family has submitted a personalized wish list that reflects its most needed items. Lists are labeled by letter and include the number of people in each household, giving donors a clear picture of whom they are helping. As of this time, several families are still waiting to be adopted, and the nursery is encouraging supporters to act quickly to ensure every family receives holiday support.

“We see the impact immediately,” said staff members at the Crisis Nursery. “Families who are under tremendous stress feel relief and comfort when the community steps in with compassion.”

Donors who have adopted a family are asked to provide unwrapped gifts and deliver them to Maryville Crisis Nursery, 6650 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago, during business hours from Dec. 8–12. These items will be distributed directly to families before the holidays.

The Gifts of Hope initiative plays a critical role in Maryville’s mission to strengthen families and protect children. Many families served by the Crisis Nursery are coping with financial instability, health challenges or family emergencies. The program ensures that parents can provide a meaningful holiday experience for their children during a difficult time.

Through Gifts of Hope, Maryville and its supporters continue a long tradition of creating brighter holidays for families who need it most.
