Thank you to everyone who joined us Saturday night for the Chicago Wolves fundraiser benefiting Walsh Academy.
Your support helps provide therapeutic education, counseling and student focused programming for young people with social, emotional and behavioral needs. Events like this show our students they have a community cheering them on, both in and out of the classroom.
We are grateful for your continued support of Maryville and the students we serve.
The Chicago Wolves will support Walsh Academy, a program of Maryville, through a special fundraiser game on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m., at Allstate Arena.
A portion of every ticket sold for the game will directly benefit Walsh Academy, a therapeutic high school operated by Maryville that serves students with social, emotional and behavioral needs. The partnership offers hockey fans an opportunity to enjoy a night of professional sports while supporting educational and career pathways for local youth.
The Chicago Wolves are a professional ice hockey team competing in the American Hockey League. Known for providing affordable family entertainment, the Wolves currently operate as the league’s lone independent franchise and play their home games in Rosemont.
Walsh Academy, formerly known as Maryville Jen School, opened at the Niles location in fall 2023 and continues the school’s founding vision of preparing students for successful futures. The school serves youth ages 14 to 22 and offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines academics, integrated social and emotional learning and career and technical education.
Through partnerships with contractors, union organizations and school districts, Walsh Academy works to create internship and job opportunities that help students gain hands-on experience in high-demand trades and career fields.
