Oct. 8 Fall Luncheon features special speaker who is a longtime Maryville Crisis Nursery supporter

Join us as a guest or sponsor for our upcoming Fall Luncheon! This premier event brings together Maryville and the Maryville Crisis Nursery’s friends and supporters for a day of gratitude, insight and engagement.

We are excited to introduce our special guest speaker, Aileen Robinson. With over 35 years of experience in supporting victims of domestic violence, children and families in Chicago, Aileen brings a wealth of knowledge to the event.

Having recently retired from the Chicago Police Department as the Assistant Director of Crime Victim Services, Aileen developed a model of best practices for law enforcement responses to domestic violence. Her dedication further intensified after responding to the tragic mass shooting in Highland Park, fueling her commitment to preventing and responding to such incidents.

Aileen now serves as the program manager for Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention at the Illinois Office of Emergency Management/Homeland Security. She is also an active member of several nonprofit boards, including the Maryville Crisis Nursery Advisory Board.

Her expertise on domestic violence has made her a sought-after voice in both local and national media. Aileen lives in the Logan Square neighborhood with her husband and twin daughters. An active member of the local track and field community, she enjoys supporting her family as they pursue their athletic aspirations.
