Maryville provides a safe and stable living environment for those who are unable to live at home. While children and adolescents live at Maryville, a team of highly-trained professionals work with them and their families with the goal of restoring family life whenever possible. Children and adolescents who are unable to return to their homes are prepared for long-term residential care, transitional living, foster care or independent living.
Through individual, group and family therapy, children and adolescents are encouraged to communicate their feelings and confront their challenges in a safe and loving environment. We strive to empower our young people by encouraging them to participate in their treatment planning, and we individualize our service provision by keeping in mind each person’s unique challenges and strengths.
